Our Evidence Scale

Aesthetic medicine has a marketing problem. This is our answer to it.

Every protocol we offer carries a three-point evidence rating, printed on the treatment itself. It tells you where the science actually stands before you spend a dollar — not after.

Well-supported in humans

Backed by randomized controlled trials, meta-analyses, or regulatory approval for the use we're describing. We can tell you roughly what to expect and how often it holds.

Supportive

Promising human data

Multiple published human studies point the same direction, but sample sizes, protocols, or follow-up periods are still limited. Reasonable to try. Not a guarantee.

Mechanism, not proof

The biological rationale is real and the safety profile is understood, but controlled human outcome data is thin or absent. We'll offer it, and we'll say so plainly.

A rating describes the published evidence for a treatment category — it is not a prediction about your result. No treatment described on this site is offered as a cure, and none is guaranteed to work for any individual.

What Aging Actually Is

Skin doesn't age on the surface. It ages underneath.

Visible aging is the downstream result of things happening several layers below what a cream can reach: fibroblasts slowing collagen production, elastin fragmenting, microcirculation thinning, and inflammatory signaling rising with age.

  • Fibroblast output declines. Type I and III collagen synthesis falls measurably each decade after your twenties. Laxity and fine lines follow.
  • Repair signaling gets quieter. Growth factors that coordinate tissue turnover — PDGF, TGF-β, VEGF — circulate at lower effective levels.
  • Regenerative medicine works on that layer. Platelet concentrates, peptides, and cell-derived therapies are attempts to reintroduce repair signals where the body has stopped producing enough of them.
  • The honest part. Reintroducing a signal is not the same as reversing aging. Most of what follows is about supporting a process, not undoing one.

Platelet-rich plasma injected into the scalp for pattern hair thinning. This has one of the strongest published evidence bases in regenerative aesthetics — multiple systematic reviews report improvements in hair density and thickness for androgenetic alopecia.

That any of this reverses aging, replaces a surgical result, or produces a specific number of years off your face. Regenerative aesthetics works gradually, varies between people, and requires maintenance. If a clinic promises otherwise, that's a reason to ask more questions — of them, and of us.

Inside The Lab

The part most clinics don't show you.

Anything we put back into you is prepared, verified, and logged in-house. Autologous preparations are processed in a closed system from draw to delivery, and any sourced biologic material is checked against its certificate of analysis before it's cleared for use.

  • Closed-system processing. Your blood draw to your treatment without an open transfer step.
  • Certificate of analysis on file. Identity and viability documentation reviewed for every sourced lot, and available to you on request.
  • cGTP-aligned protocols. Laboratory handling follows current Good Tissue Practice-aligned procedures.
  • Documented chain of custody. Every sample is labeled, tracked, and matched to a single patient.

Consultation & goals

We start with what you actually want to change and what you've already tried. If a cosmetic procedure or a dermatologist would serve you better than we would, we'll say so.

Baseline workup

Standardized photography under fixed lighting, plus labs where the plan calls for them, so progress is measured against a record rather than a memory.

Protocol design & consent

A written plan with the evidence rating for each component, the realistic timeline, the total cost, and what maintenance will look like — before anything is scheduled.

Preparation & verification

Your sample is processed and checked in-house. Sourced material is verified against its certificate of analysis before it is cleared for administration.

Treatment

Delivered by a licensed clinician in a private suite, with topical anesthetic and comfort measures as appropriate to the protocol.

Follow-up & re-photography

Repeat imaging under identical conditions at defined intervals. If the data doesn't show a change, we tell you that instead of selling you the next package.

A treatment room designed like a room, not a ward.

Two things run alongside your session at no additional charge — a photobiomodulation panel and a coordinated sound field. We're specific below about what each one does and what it doesn't.

Photobiomodulation · Concurrent

Red Light Therapy

  • Delivered by a Rinnovare R-100 eight-wavelength panel that runs during your session rather than as a separate appointment.
  • Red wavelengths in the 630–660 nm range are the band most studied for skin — dermal absorption, local circulation, and fibroblast activity.
  • Light in this range is absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondria, the established mechanism behind photobiomodulation's effect on cellular energy production.
  • Published human studies support red light for skin texture, tone, and fine lines, though effect sizes are modest and cumulative.
  • The honest limit: no controlled trial has shown that adding red light to a platelet or cell-based treatment improves that treatment's outcome. We run them together because the mechanism is plausible and the risk is low — not because the combination is proven.
Room Environment

Immersive Sound Field

  • Our suites are fitted with a Planar Matryxx™ coordinated audio array from Marziani inMERSION Systems — the same platform used in museum installations and themed attractions.
  • Rather than speakers aimed at you, the array produces one continuous, even sound field across the room, with no hot spots or dead zones.
  • The purpose is comfort: reducing procedure anxiety and muscle tension while you hold still.
  • This is an audio environment, not a medical device. It doesn't act on your skin or your condition, we make no therapeutic claim for it, and it isn't billed as therapy.

Safety & Standards

Transparency, in writing.

Regenerative aesthetics is a young field with a lot of noise in it. We'd rather be the clinic that under-promises and documents everything.

  • Every treatment plan is directed by a licensed physician.
  • Autologous preparations are processed in-house under cGTP-aligned laboratory protocols.
  • Screening, medical history review, and written informed consent are completed before any procedure is scheduled.
  • Pricing, session count, and expected maintenance are disclosed in writing before you commit.
  • We track outcomes with standardized photography and share realistic expectations, not guarantees.
  • We will tell you directly if we don't think you're a good candidate — including when the honest answer is that a different specialty would serve you better.

Frequently Asked

Questions worth asking before you book anything.

Including the ones a sales-driven clinic would rather you didn't ask.

Will this actually make me look younger?

It can improve specific, measurable things — skin texture, tone, fine lines, hair density, scarring — gradually and to a degree that varies considerably between people. What it does not do is reverse aging, replace what a surgical procedure achieves, or produce a fixed result you can count on in advance.

The most useful thing we can do at consultation is tell you which of your goals regenerative treatment can realistically address, and which ones need a different tool.

Are stem cell treatments FDA-approved for anti-aging?

No. There is currently no FDA-approved stem cell or exosome product for cosmetic or anti-aging use. Treatments in this category are offered under physician-directed protocols, which is a different thing from FDA approval, and we think you should understand that distinction clearly before you spend money.

This is also why our evidence scale exists. Any clinic in Las Vegas telling you their stem cell facial is FDA-approved is telling you something that isn't true.

Why won't you inject exosomes?

Because the FDA has issued public safety warnings about injectable exosome products, and there have been documented adverse events tied to unapproved preparations. The laboratory science is genuinely promising, which is why we offer exosomes topically after microneedling — where the barrier is receptive and the risk profile is different.

If another clinic offers to inject them, ask what regulatory pathway that product sits under.

How long before I see anything?

Regenerative treatments work on the timeline of tissue remodeling, not on the timeline of a filler. Skin protocols typically show change from around six to twelve weeks, building over a treatment series. Hair protocols are usually assessed at three and six months.

This is exactly why we photograph you under fixed lighting at baseline — human memory of your own face is unreliable, and a standardized image isn't.

What does it cost, and is it covered?

Aesthetic and longevity treatments are not covered by insurance. Full pricing for your specific protocol — including the number of sessions and expected maintenance — is provided in writing at consultation, before anything is scheduled. We don't quote a price until we know what you actually need.

What are the risks?

Injection- and needle-based procedures carry risk of infection, bleeding, bruising, swelling, and localized irritation. Microneedling can cause temporary redness and, less commonly, pigment changes in some skin types. Systemic protocols carry their own profiles, reviewed individually.

Your physician reviews your complete risk profile as part of informed consent, before any procedure is scheduled.

Do you offer consultations for people who aren't sure yet?

Yes, and that's most of the people we see. A consultation is a conversation about your goals and a candidacy assessment — not a sales appointment. If we're not the right fit, we'd rather establish that in an hour than after you've paid for a package.
